God Always Sends Warning Before Destruction

The scripture says in Amos 3:7..."Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he reveals His secrets to His servants, the prophets"

. God always has a way of escape for the ones that repent and change their ways of living. Before God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, He sent three men like angels to father Abraham to reveal God's plan. After much research on this subject, I found that Homosexuality was rampant in this city. He interceded for the twin cities. Only Lot and his family escaped this wicked city. The men of the city wanted sex with these men that God sent to this city. They didn't want Lot's virgin daughters. God sent Noah to preach that it was going to rain, but the people refused to listen. They were living it up until the water came down and everyone was killed by the flood except Noah, his family, and the animals that were in the ark. Now the Word of the LORD came unto Jonah, the son of Amittai, saying, "Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city and cry against it, for their wickedness is come up before me. An Jonah began to enter into the city a day's journey, and he cried and said yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown".

So the people of Nineveh believed God, and proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth from the greatest of them even to the least of them. For word came unto the king of Nineveh, and he arose from his throne and laid his robe from him, covered him with sackcloth and sat in ashes. And he caused it to be proclaimed and published through Nineveh by the decree of the king and his nobles, saying, "let neither man nor beast, herd nor flock, taste any thing: let then not feed, nor drink water but let man and best be covered with sackcloth, and cry mightily unto God: yea, let them turn everyone from his evil way, and from the violence that is in their hands. Who can tell if God will turn and repent, and turn away from his fierce anger that we perish not?"

And God saw their works that they turned from their evil ways; and God repented of the evil, that He had said would do unto then; and He did it not.

2 Chronicles 7:14 says; If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal the land.

God is sending me to you to ask the residents of this great city to turn to God.
